Web-based Remote
Management
The SMG-400 offers web-based management functions that enable configuration and management
of the system from a web browser. Internet web browsers are similar to that of Windows in terms
of user environment. You only need to use a mouse to configure the browsers.
In this Chapter, you can learn how to login to the web management interface of the SMG-400. The
web management interface only provides frequently used functions for system operation among
CLI functions. For menus and detailed information you should refer to
Chapter 5 CLI

Before you Begin
To use the web management interface of the SMG-400, the IP address, subnet mask and default
gateway of the SMG-400 must be set correctly to the site’s network. Such setup is described in
Chapter 4 Configuring the System
