Selecting a network
1. From the
Start
menu, tap
Settings
→
Personal
tab
→
Phone
.
2. Tap the
Network
tab, and select either
Automatic
or
Manual
in the
Network
selection
field (retrieving settings may
take a few minutes when you select
Manual
).
3. If you select
Manual
, the list of available
networks displays. Continue the next
steps.
4. Select a network you want and tap
OK
.
You are connected to that network.
5. Tap .
Setting preferred networks
You can set up a list of your preferred
networks. You can set priority of the
networks or add networks manually by
selecting them from the preset network list
or entering their service ID codes.
1. From the
Start
menu, tap
Settings

Personal
tab

Phone
.
2. Tap the
Network
tab, and then tap
Set
Networks
(retrieving settings may take
a few minutes).
3. Select a network and change the order
for network usage by tapping
Move Up
or
Move Down
.
4. Tap .
Note
: If there are many mobile phone service
providers available to you, enable this
function to select a lower fee network.
Call barring
This service allows you to restrict your
incoming or outgoing calls.
