To access the Certificates options, on the
Home
screen, press
Start
> More
>
Settings > More... > Security > Certificates
.
• Personal
: help to establish your identity, when you log on to a secured
network, such as a corporate network.
• Intermediate
: help to establish an increased level of security when you log on
to a secured network.
• Root
: help to establish the identity of servers with which you connect. This
helps to prevent unauthorized users from accessing your phone and
information.
Deleting a Certificate
1.
Scroll to the certificate you want on the list.
2.
Press the
Menu
soft key and select
Delete
.
3.
Press the
Yes
soft key to confirm the deletion.
Resetting your Phone
You can reset your phone’s settings and clear all added data from memory.
Resetting the Phone
1.
On the
Home
screen, press
Start
> More >
Settings > More... > Security >
More... > Reset
.
2.
If the SIM card is inserted, the device is reset without a password. If not, the
device will require the password to be reset. The default password is 0000.
3.
Press the
Yes
soft key to confirm. The phone resets and reboots itself.
Changing the Reset Password
You can change the reset password to prevent the phone from being reset by
unauthorized people.
1.
On the
Home
screen, press
Start
> More >
Settings > More... > Security >
More... > Change Reset Password
.
2.
Enter the old password, then a new password, and re-enter the new one for
confirmation.
3.
Press the
Done
soft key.
