Take photo
(Menu 3.1)
Use this menu to take a single photo or a series
of photos, or record a video. The camera
produces JPEG photos and MP4 video clips.
Taking a photo
1. Access the Take photo menu or press and
hold [Right] in idle mode to turn on the
camera and switch the display to Capture
mode.
2. When you use the camera for the first time,
press [ 2 ] to change the preview screen.
3. Press [ 1 ] to select the shooting mode you
want:
• Single shot ( ): take a photo.
• Serial shot ( ): take a serial of action
stills.
• Divided shot ( ): take several stills and
save them in one frame.
• Video cam ( ): record a video clip.

4. Make any desired adjustments.
• Press < Options > to access camera

• Use the keypad to change the camera
settings or switch to other shooting
modes. p. 49
5. Press < Capture > to take a photo.
When you are taking serial shot images, the
camera takes photos successively.
6. Press < Save > to save the photo(s).
The photo(s) is saved in the My album
folder.
When you take a photo in direct sunlight or in
bright conditions, shadows may appear on the
photo.
