Accepting a Bond
To accept an incoming bond, follow these steps:
1.
Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and the device is visible.
2.
When prompted to bond with the another device, tap the
Yes
soft key.
3.
Enter the numeric passcode/passkey and press the
Next
soft key. You are
then notified the pairing is in progress.
4.
Use either your virtual QWERTY keyboard or keypad to enter a new
Device
Name
for the external Bluetooth device and tap the desired services available
to that same device.
5.
Tap the
Done
soft key to complete the process.
Renaming a Bond
The name of each bond can be changed, if necessary, by following these steps:

: Make sure that the two devices are within range and that Bluetooth is visible on
both devices.
1.
From the
Today
screen, drag and drop the
Wireless Manager
widget
onto the Today screen.
2.
Tap the
Bluetooth
Settings
icon
> Devices
tab.
3.
Tap the bond you want to rename.
4.
In the
Display Name
field, enter a new name for the bond.
5.
Tap the
Save
soft key to save your changes and return to the previous screen.
Bluetooth Hands-Free Device
You can use a Bluetooth Hands-free device with your Omnia.
1.
Create bond between your Omnia and the Bluetooth Hands-free device. For
more information, refer to "Creating Bluetooth Bonds" on page 111.
Using Bluetooth Hands-Free Device
Some or all of the features below are available when using your Bluetooth Hand-free
device.

Voice recognition using the built-in “Voice Command” application.
•
Last number redial
•
Call holding and call switching
•
Caller ID display
