Using the Menus
Your phone offers a range of functions that allow you
to tailor it to your needs. These functions are arranged
in menus and submenus.
The menus and submenus can be accessed by scrolling
or by using the shortcuts.
Accessing a Menu Function by Scrolling
1. In Standby Mode, press the
Menu
soft key to
access Menu Mode.
2. Scroll with the Navigation keys to reach the desired
main menu; for example,
Display
. Press the
Select
soft key to enter the menu.
3. If the menu contains any submenus; for example,
Language
, find the one you want by scrolling with
the Up or Down key. Press the
Select
soft key to
enter the submenu.
If the menu you have selected contains submenus,
repeat this step.
4. Scroll with the Up or Down key to find the setting
of your choice.
5. Press the
OK
or
Save
soft key to confirm the
chosen setting.
Notes:
• You can return to the previous menu level by
pressing the
CLR
key or the
Back
soft key.
• You can exit the menu without changing the menu
settings by pressing the
key.
Accessing a Menu Function by Using Its
Shortcut
Menu, submenus and setting options are numbered
and can be quickly accessed by using their shortcut
numbers.
Note:
The numbers assigned to each menu function
are indicated on the list on page xx.
1. In Standby Mode, press the
Menu
soft key to
access Menu Mode.
2. Within three seconds, enter the first digit of the
shortcut number. Repeat this for each digit of the
shortcut number.
Example: Accessing the

menu

3. Find the setting of your choice by pressing the Up or
Down key.
