Using the Web Browser Soft Keys
At the bottom of the Web Browser display is a solid
bar which contains browser commands. “Soft” keys,
and are used to execute the commands.
These two keys are called soft keys because their
function changes depending on where you are in the
Web Browser software.
Navigating the Web Browser
When you use the Web Browser, some keys on your
phone operate differently than on a normal phone call.
These keys are explained below. The Web Browser
presents on-screen items in one of the following ways.
• text or numeric input
• links (embedded in content)
• numbered options (some options may not be
numbered)
• simple text
Here’s how the keys work in the Web Browser.
scroll to and select browser options. The
currently selected option is indicated by an
arrow. You can also use the navigation keys to
move the cursor when editing text.

The first time you use the Web Browser, you will
go through a security setup process that takes 3 to 5
minutes. Please follow the on-screen prompts to
complete the security setup process. This initial setup
process occurs only the first time you access the
service.
Accessing the Web Browser menu connects your
phone to the Wireless Web.
If a reminder appear depending on your setting in the
Prompt

Once connected, the Home page or the last page you
visited will be displayed.
The opening page when accessing the Web Browser is
dependent on the Wireless Web service provider’s

Exiting the Web Browser
To end the Web connection, simply press at any
time.

to end the Browser call.
