Sending a Text

1.

 Before sending a text, check that the phone is 

unlocked.

2.

 Once the phone is unlocked, press the L soft 

key. Nine apps will appear as shown in Figure 1.

3.

 To navigate the phone’s features, press the sides 

of the 

Navigation Key

4.

 Move your cursor down to one app that is        

labeled 

‘Messages’

5.

 Press the 

OK

6.

 Automatically the cursor will be on 

‘Create 

Message’

7.

 Press the 

OK

.

8.

 Use the keypad to type your message into the 

black dialogue box. 

NOTE: By continually pressing an individual 

button, you can cycle through 4 options: 3 

letters and 1 number. 

9.

 Once you are finished, press the 

OK

. The     

‘Recipient List’ 

boxes will appear. 

10. 

Type in the phone number of the person to 

whom you wish to send the text. 

11. 

Once you have entered in the desired phone 

number, press the 

L Soft Key

. A pop-up box will 

appear. 

12. 

Select 

‘Send’

.

13.

 Press the 

OK

. A pop-up box will appear, saying 

‘Message Sent’

Texting Tips

To Space Words:

1.

 Press the # button (the 

Text Spacing 

Key

). 

To Delete Letters or Words:

1.

 Press the 

R Soft Key

For Symbols (#, $, %):

1.

 Press the 

L Soft Key

2.

 Navigate to 

‘Text Mode’

.

3.

 Press 

OK

.

4.

  Navigate to 

‘Symbols’

.

5.

 Press 

OK

6.

 Use the 

Navigation Key

 to select the 

desired symbols. 

7.

 When you have chosen a symbol, click 

the number with which the desired sym-

bol corresponds.

8.

 Press 

OK

. The desired symbol will     

appear in the black dialogue box. 

For Numbers:

1. 

Press the 

R Soft Key

.

2.

 Navigate to 

‘Text Mode’

.

3.

 Press 

OK

.

4. 

Navigate down to 

‘Numeric’

.

5.

 Press 

OK

6. 

Using the keypad, enter any desired 

number.  The number will appear in the 

black dialogue box.
