TROUBLESHOOTING
1) Self Diagnosis with Initial Power-On
1-1) When the unit is plugged in, its MICOM checks if there are no defects in the various sensors within a few seconds.
1-2) When there is any defective sensor during the Self-Diagnosis, each error code lights up on the display every 2 seconds in
sequence. Error Code blinks (0.5 second On and 0.5 second Off) – Refer to Self-Diagnosis Check List
1-3) When there is a defective sensor with the Display Panel flashing an error code, only the Self-Diagnosis function buttons
( Power Cool or F Power Freezer or Temp + Power Freezer for 10 seconds) work.
And, the Display Panel does not work normally and it operates under an emergency mode.
1-4) The errors being occurred during the Self-Diagnosis can be cleared when the defective sensors repaired or when the
Self-Diagnosis function buttons ( Power Cool or F Power Freezer or Temp + Power Freezer) are pressed
for 10 seconds.
2) Self-Diagnosis During Normal Operation
2-1) During the Normal Operation, press the Power Cool or F Power Freezer or Temp + Power Freezer
buttons for 6 seconds. Then, the entire Display Panel blinks at intervals of 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds. When pressing the
Power Cool or F Power Freezer or Temp + Power Freezer buttons for 10 seconds including the 4-second
blinking time, it sends out a “Ding Dong” sound and it goes into the Self-Diagnosis function.
2-2) When it goes into the Self-Diagnosis function, the entire Display Panel goes off and each error code lights up on the
display every 2 seconds in sequence.
Error Code blinks (0.5 second On and 0.5 second Off) – Refer to Self-Diagnosis Check List
2-3) The error code flashing automatically lights on for one minute and then it goes back to the normal operation (When it
goes back to the normal operation, it sends out “Ding Dong” sound).
