receive alerts when new media – such as a
breaking news report – is available to
download. From the Home screen, select

and press the

Add to Favorites

. Enter a name for the alert in the
Name field and press the

that enables your customers to identify a
song on the radio, in the mall – anywhere.
From the Home screen, select

. Highlight
iD song
and press the
navigation Joystick
. Place
the handset’s microphone near the music source. When a song
match is found, the screen displays the Artist, Name, Track,
Title, and Album Cover Art.
Tip #12: seTTing A VOiCe nOTe As A RingTOne
Your customers have the option of recording a voice note and
using this as a ringtone. From the Home screen, select
start
>
Organizer
>
Voice notes
>
menu
>
Record
. Record the
message, and press the
stop soft Key
when done. Press the
menu soft Key
and select
set as Ringtone
, then
OK
.
Tip #13: seT up shORTCuT FAVORiTes
Customers can set their own shortcuts by assigning
applications to the Fn key shortcuts. To do this, go to
start
>
settings
>
more
>
Key settings
>
Fn Key settings
, then
click
show List
. This shows the list of default shortcuts. To
add a shortcut, choose
menu
>
Add
and press
Done
. To use
the newly assigned shortcut, from the Home screen, hold the
Fn Key
and press the assigned letter.

To turn off the backlight, press and hold the
