choosing how to send your text
message
You can swap between numbers and
upper and lower case, by pressing the
soft key under
while you're
writing a text message. The highlighted
symbol at the bottom of the phone's
display will change depending on which
you have chosen.

see a blank screen with a flashing
cursor. You will see

the screen. This signifies that you are
ready to input your message using
upper case text input.

Press each key the relevant number of
times to get the letter you need. For
example, to get the letter

To change from upper to lower case or
numeric press the

key to delete a
character. Press the

move the cursor forward or back in a
line of text and the

If you just want to save the message,

You can read your unsent
message in your outbox.

Text Messaging is an easy and fun way to keep in touch when a phone call is
inappropriate - perhaps late at night, when you’re on a train or in a meeting.

You can save and send the message
by pressing

number of the person you are sending
the message to, or press

to choose a name from your
Phonebook.

the display. You can read your sent
message in your outbox.
Note:
You may receive a Failed text
message on your display. This means
that although Orange has successfully
sent your message, the recipient has
been unable to receive it. You should
either try to resend it, or make a call
instead.
confirming receipt of a sent text
message
When sending an important text message
to another mobile phone, add
RCT
on to
the beginning of the first word of your
message, without leaving a space
between. This requests a confirmation text
message to be sent back to your phone
when the text message is delivered.
punctuating your text message
All these characters and symbols can be
added to your text message by pressing
each key the appropriate number of times.
