ASSIGN COS CONTENTS
DESCRIPTION:
This MMC is used to configure options for each class of service. Classes of Service
determine whether a particular station is able to access a feature or not. When a
feature has been restricted the user will hear error tone and see, if using a keyset
with an LCD, a display saying “limited class”. There are 30 classes of service
available.
This MMC is divided into 5 categories:
TOLL LEVEL
,
USABLE FEATURES
,
CALL
STN GROUP
,
CALL TRK GROUP
, and
CALL BIVMS STN
.
TOLL LEVEL
Set the toll level for this Class of Service. The default
is
A
for all Classes except
30
, which defaults to
H
.
Toll restriction levels can be configured in
MMC 702
and
MMC 703
.
USABLE FEATURES
Usable Features is a submenu that allows you to
grant or deny access to specific features. The list of
features can be found in
Table A
. Setting a feature to
YES
will allow this Class of Service to use the feature,
a setting of
NO
will deny access.
CALL STN GROUP
Determine which station groups, if any, this Class of
Service is allowed to dial. By default all station groups
are set to
YES
.
CALL TRK GROUP
Determine which trunk groups, if any, this Class of
Service is allowed to dial.
NOTE:
Trunk groups that are denied cannot be
dialed directly or accessed through the use of
L
east
C
ost
R
outing (
LCR
)
CALL BIVMS STN
Determine which voicemail ports, if any, this Class of
Service is allowed to dial.
NOTE:
This setting only affects
BI-VMS
ports that
belong to a Samsung Voicemail. Other types of
BI-
VMS
ports are unaffected.
