3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3-14 Replacing the Door Plunger

Parts

Explanation Photo

Plunger

Shield

Door Plunger

Remove 1 screw of the shield and separate

the shield .

Disconnect the wire to the door plunger .

Carefully pull out the door plunger from the

upper right corner of the cavity front . Gently

grasp the plunger with pliers and work from

side to side while pulling .

Replace with the door plunger, reconnect the

wires in their original positions, and reinstall

plunger in the oven frame .
