Phone Basics
Finding a Phone Number
You can search Contacts entries for phone numbers that
contain a specific string of numbers.
To find a phone number:
1.
While in the phone’s standby mode, enter three or more
of the last digits of the phone number. (The more
numbers you enter, the better the search becomes.)
2.
Select
Options
(
) and select
Find
(
). (All Contacts entries
matching the entered numbers
are then displayed.)
3.
To display the Contacts entry that
contains the phone number you entered, highlight the
entry and press
.
4.
To dial the number, press
.
Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers
With Pauses
You can dial or save phone numbers with pauses for use with
automated systems, such as voicemail or credit card billing.
Note:
Some features can be accessed via both the Phone Display
screen and the Main LCD.
Tip:
Creating a saved series of numbers with pauses is very useful
when entering data into an automated system.
For example, if accessing your bank information requires
dialing a toll-free number, followed by an account number
and then your PIN, you can place a two-second pause after
each group of numbers to ensure they are read correctly.
