4-1-10. No Video and No Sound
(Only 459, 539 Model : DTV of channel encrypted by Pro:Idiom)
Symptom
The video and sound of the channel encrypted by Pro:Idiom is not played in the model to
T
support Pro:Idiom-decryption.
The only banner, "weak signal or scrambled channel" is displayed without any video and sound.

The problem is why the circuit block of Pro:Idiom IC has some problem or signal of the encrypted
channel is weak.
Check the following below.

Check VCC and Clock of Pro:idiom IC.
T
Check the signal strength of the encrypted channel.
T
Diagnostics
Execute Self Diagnosis test and Check the
Signal Information.
- How Self Diagnosis test can be active?
Please first make Hotel Mode off.
- After executing the Signal Information in
Self Diagnosis, check the following below.
‘SNR’ should be more than 25dB.
‘Status’ should be ‘Lock’.
Are all of TP1613, TP1614, TP1615,
TP1619 and TP1620 DC 3.3V(B3.3V)?

If no problem after checking,
change the Main Board.

If no problem after checking, change
the Main Board.
