No dial tone sounds
when lifting the
handset or pressing the
[Speaker] button.

- Check if power adaptor and other cables are
connected to the phone properly.
- Check if the network configuration including IP
address are set properly. (Refer to
[Menu]

in this manual.)
- Execute the ‘ping’ command in PC connected
to the phone to see if the IP address set to the
phone is valid. If it is duplicated, ask the
system administrator to provide a new IP
address.
Bell does not ring or
rings too weak.

Press the
[Volume]
button to increase the
volume of bell. (Refer to ‘Volume Adjustment’ in
‘Button Function’.)
Poor call due to noise or
cross
►
If you are using a speakerphone, lift the handset
instead and continue talk.
Internal announcement
echoes too much
►
Announcement over speakers may echo when
phones on extension line are placed closely.
Place them at intervals of about 1 meter.
Caller ID does not
appear on LCD screen
►
- Check if you asked service provider to provide
the Caller ID service.
- Caller ID may not appear if caller requests
service provider not to send his/her number.
- Caller ID may not appear if caller is located
where his/her number cannot be sent
(ex: international call).
- Caller ID does not appear if caller uses a
public phone.
- Caller ID may not appear if the information on
caller provided by service provider is invalid.
- Caller ID may not appear if service provider
does not send the caller ID.
Alarm fails to sound at
the appointed time

Check if you set the correct time to your phone.
If you have to change the time, contact the
system administrator.
