Resetting Your Device’s Settings
Resetting the device restores all of the factory defaults,
including the ringer types and display settings.
Onboard data such as Contacts, History, Scheduler,
and Messaging are not affected.
1.
Press

Settings > Reset
> Reset Settings
. (A disclaimer is displayed.)
2.
Read the disclaimer, write down the lock code, and
touch
Proceed
.
3.
Enter the lock code provided on the disclaimer by
using the onscreen dial pad.
4.
Touch
Done
to reset the device’s settings.

Security Features for Data Services
Using Parental Controls
You can disable certain device services without turning
off your device. You can restrict access to all data
services, including Web and messaging.
Note
If Parental Control has been enabled, this will also
need to be entered brefore continuing.
