Section 6: Personal Information
Contacts
You can create and manage the list of your personal or business
contacts that is stored on the phone's memory or on a SIM card.
You can save names, mobile phone numbers, home phone
numbers, email addresses, birthdays, etc. for your contacts.
To create a contact:
1.
In Idle mode, select
Contacts
.
2.
Select
Create contact
.
3.
Select a memory location:
Phone
,
SIM
, or
.
4.
Enter the contact’s information.
5.
Select
Save
to add the contact to memory.
To create a contact from the dialing screen:
1.
In Idle mode, select
Phone
→
Keypad
.
2.
Enter a phone number.
3.
Press
→
Add to Contacts
→
Create contact
.
4.
Select a memory location:
Phone
,
SIM
, or
.
5.
Enter the contact’s information.
6.
Select
Save
to add the contact to memory.
To import or export contacts:
1.
In Idle mode, select
Contacts
.
2.
Press
→
More
→
Import/Export
.
3.
Select an option to import or export:
Import from SD card
or
Export to SD card
.
4.
For importing contacts, select an importing option:
Phone
or
email account.
To find a contact:
1.
In Idle mode, select
Contacts
.
2.
Scroll up or down in the contact list.
3.
Select a contact’s name.
Once you find a contact, you can:
•
Call:
Selecting a number or select
Call
to call the contact.
•
Send Message:
Send a message.
•
→
Edit:
Edit the contact’s information.
•
→
Send namecard via:
Share the contact’s information with
others.
To set a speed dial number:
1.
In Idle mode, select
Contacts
.
2.
Press
→
Speed dial
.
