Samsung GM85 Quick User Guide.
(Please note that this guide is aimed at enabling a user to perform a basic mobile chest x-ray
and is in no way a substitute for full training which includes safety, detector care, cleaning,
advanced functions, errors and problem solving)
Turning on
1.
If the unit is off, switch on with the power switch on top (next to the emergency stop
button).
2.
Unplug the system from the mains and enter the drive pin to enable movement.
3.
Log-in to the S-Station to use the unit and release the detector locks.
Worklist Screen
1.
Connect to the network via a cable and obtain the worklist. Prompt the system by
pressing refresh (circular arrow, bottom left hand of screen).
2.
Disconnect from network and head to patient.
3.
Once by the patie
nt, lift the tube, select patient and press ‘
Start Exam
’
Acquisition Screen
1.
Make sure the detector is turned on (power button on the side edge of detector)
2.
Position as normal
3.
Check exposure factors and expose.
Review Screen
1.
Check the image
-
If okay, retrieve the detector.
-
If repeat required, press ‘
RETAKE
’, select reason for repeat and press okay.
2.
Shutter, annotate and window image as appropriate.
3.
Once happy with the image press ‘
CONFIRM
’ to save changes to the image and then
press ‘
AUTO SEND
’ to close the patient and send images to PACS.
4.
Once back in the department, re-connect the unit to the network cable, images in
queue will now send
5.
Check status of image Y/N in review tab and image has arrived on PACS.
Turning Off
1.
The mobile unit should always be left plugged in and charging.
2.
Press and hold power button for 3 seconds until shutdown noise heard
3.
Lock detectors.
