Getting ready
◎ Power off the product and remove the battery pack before
attaching/removing the au Micro IC Card (LTE).
◎ Note the following points, otherwise handling the au Micro IC
Card (LTE) may cause malfunction or damage.
• Do not touch the IC (metal) part of the au Micro IC Card (LTE)
or the IC card terminal inside the product.
• Insert in the correct direction.
• Do not use force to attach or remove.
◎ Do not lose the au Micro IC Card (LTE) after it has been
removed.
◎ If an au Micro IC Card (LTE) is not inserted,
appears. And the
following operations cannot be performed.
- Making/receiving calls
- Sending/receiving E-mail (@ezweb.ne.jp) and SMS
- Setting PIN code
- Checking own number
- Making emergency calls to 110 (Police), 119 (Fire institution),
118 (Regional Coast Guard Headquarters) and 157 (Customer
Service Center)
◎ Do not insert an au Nano IC Card (LTE) to which a conversion
adapter is attached. Doing so might cause a fault.
Attaching the au Micro IC Card (LTE)
Remove the battery pack and cover
With the IC (metal) side down, insert the au
Micro IC Card (LTE) with the orientation of
the notch as shown all the way into the card
