Starting the DECT 1500 System

1. Install the CCFP administration software on an IBM-compatible PC.

2. Make sure that all RFPs are connected correctly. Also, make sure that all IWU

connections are made to PABX lines.

3. Connect a serial cable (RS-232) between the CCFP and the PC installed with

the administration software.

4. Connect the power cable to the CCFP. Ensure that there is an earth connec-

tion in the power supply plug.

5. Power up the CCFP.

6. Use the administration program to:

•

Configure the system.

•

Make a cable measurement to all installed RFPs.

•

Adjust IWU parameters as required.

•

Register each handset to the system.
