Backup / Restore

You can reinstall Windows using 

System Restore Media

 when 

Window is not working properly (only for models provided with 

System Restore Media).
You can reinstall Windows using 

Samsung Recovery

System Restore Media may not be provided depending on 

the model.

• 

If the computer does not boot up, or if you want to install 

Windows after deleting all your data, refer to [Installing 

Windows when Windows does not boot up].

• 

The descriptions and screens in this manual may vary 

depending on the operating system.

• 

For models that do not include a CD drive, purchase an 

external CD drive.

• 

The data (files, programs) in the hard disk may be deleted if 

you reinstall Windows.

• 

Be sure to back up any important data. Samsung is not 

responsible for the loss of data.

Installing Windows in Windows

  Insert the system restore media in the CD drive.

  When the Windows installation window appears, click 

Install

If you click

 window, the options are updated to the latest
