Disassembling the computer
You must open the cover to replace or add computer parts. The
computer's form and interior structure may differ depending on
selected specifications.
If you are not comfortable doing the expansion yourself, please
contact a service center for support. However, expansion-related
services are not free even during the free service period.

The computer may be severely damaged by electrical
shock, so be sure to disconnect the power cable before
disassembling.
Be careful as parts may be damaged by even small
amounts of static reaching the computer. (electrical dis-
charge to metal parts)

Be careful you are not hurt by the many sharp parts inside
the computer.
•
When disassembling the computer, you must turn it off
first and then unplug the power cable.
Any modems must also be disconnected before disassem-
bling the computer. There is a risk of electric shock.
Opening the computer cover

Lie the computer on its side and use a screwdriver to remove
the 2 screws from its back.

Push the computer cover in the direction of the arrow.
