Removal
12 Removal
The work described in this section is only to
be performed by personnel appropriately
qualified to carry out such tasks.
Risk of fatal injury as a result of electro-
static discharge at the housing.
Î
Ensure that the device, cables and other
plant components cannot rub against
each other.
Risk of injury due to incorrect handling of
oxygen.
Î
Work on differential pressure meters in -
tended for the measurement of gaseous
oxygen must only be performed by oper-
ating personnel who has undergone
training for work involving oxygen ser -
vice.
Risk of burn injuries due to hot or cold
components and pipelines.
Î
Prior to performing any work on the dif -
ferential pressure meter, allow compo -
nents and pipelines to cool down or
warm up to the ambient temperature.
Î
Wear protective clothing and safety
gloves.
Electrostatic discharge will damage the
installed modules.
Î
Observe the ESD requirements according
to IEC 61340-5-1.
12.1 Removing the option
module
1. Put the differential pressure meter out of
operation (see the 'Decommissioning'
section).
2. Disconnect the connecting lines on the
option module.
3. Undo the five screws on the cover and
remove the cover.
4. Pull the option module out of the slot and
store it in its packaging.
If the differential pressure meter is to contin-
ue operating without the option module:

Place on the cover and fasten it.
Î
Put the differential pressure meter back
into operation (see the 'Start-up and con-
figuration' section).
12.2 Removing the GSM module
1. Put the differential pressure meter out of
operation (see the 'Decommissioning'
section).
2. Undo the five screws on the cover and
remove the cover.
3. Pull the GSM module out of the slot and
store it in its packaging.
