The volume restriction Q serves to adapt the
air output capacity to the size of the actua

tor:

Actuators with a
transit time < 0.4 s
re-
quire a restricted air flow rate.
Setting to MIN

Actuators with a
transit time ≥ 0.4 s
do
not require the air flow rate to be restrict
-
ed.
Setting to MAX
Intermediate settings are not permitted.
Malfunction due to changing the volume re
-
striction setting!
Re-initialize positioner after changing the
volume restriction setting.
