Thank you for selecting a SAINT-GOBAIN PERFORMANCE PLASTICS model MDP 50 pump.
I – General
I.1 – Introduction
The model MDP 50 is a pneumatically operated PFA/PTFE dosing pump.
The pump is designed for dosing of chemicals.
I.2 – Materials
All wetted parts are manufactured from PFA and PTFE.
I.3 – Operation description
In this pneumatically operated dosing pump, there is a PTFE rolling diaphragm connected to a piston
by a shaft. During the suction cycle, air/nitrogen enters the piston. On discharge cycle air/pressure is
released and a spring pushes forward the piston.
The pump is self-priming and has check valves.
The pump stroke volume is adjusted manually with a fine adjustable stem at the top of the pump.
The pump speed varies with operating conditions ( air pressure, viscosity, density….)
