After the active speed limit(ASL) system is activated, it can
control the vehicle so that the vehicle is always running at
the speed set by the driver to ensure driving safety.
The ASL system and cruise control system use the same
switch group. Only one of the two systems is in operating
condition at the same time. You can switch between the
two functions by pressing the master control switch (1 in
figure).
Activation
The target speed of active speed limit system is displayed on
the area of instrument message centre where displays time
and temperature. Refer to ‘Message centre’ at ‘instruments
and controls’ chapter.
After the ignition switch is placed in position
Ⅱ
, the active
speed limit function takes the default standby status, turn
the thumbwheel switch (2 in figure) to input and adjust the
target speed of active speed limit, the range of target speed
adjustment is 30-200km/h or 20-125mph. Every time you
turn the thumbwheel up or down, the target speed limit
value increases or decreases by 5km/h or 5mph.
