Driving in Rain or Snow
Emergency braking, accelerating and steering
on slippery roads will reduce the vehicle's
handling performance and grip.
• When it’s raining or snowing the windows may fog,
reducing visibility, using the Air-conditioning demist
function).
• When it rains, please reduce speed and drive carefully.
• Do not drive at high speed when raining or snowing,
because a film of water between the tyres and the
road will form, which will affect steering and braking
performance.
Driving on the Plash Road
Do not drive on the plash roads. After the vehicle passes
through the puddles, tapping the brake pedal lightly to
confirm normal braking performance.
Wet brake pads
can’t be normally braked. If only one side of the brake
pads become wet and can’t be normally braked, steering
control will be affected, thus to cause the accident. Also,
it will lead to serious damage to the electrical system and
engine of vehicle. If the engine flameout while driving on
the water road, please do not try to start the engine, please
contact MG Authorized Repairer for repair.
