Emergency Information

Hazard Warning Devices

Hazard Warning Lamps

Note:

Before you stop or slow the vehicle in an

emergency, always press the hazard warning switch.
All turn signal lamps and direction indicators will flash
together to warn other road users when your vehicle is
causing an obstruction or is in a hazardous situation.
Remember to switch them off before driving away.

Warning Triangle

The warning triangle supplied with your vehicle is stowed
in the boot.

If you have to stop your vehicle on the road in
an emergency,

you must place a warning triangle

approximately 50 — 150 metres behind the vehicle, if
possible, to warn other road users of your position.
