Input/output (I/O) modules

Introduction to I/O modules
More than 30 different types of I/O modules (digital, analogue, counters) are
available. If connected to a PCD, then programming (FBs and FBoxes) will be done
in the same manner as for the PCD2 I/O modules. If connected in a RIO system, then
on the master PCD nothing specific needs to be programmed. The RIO converts the
signals (analogue counter) and sends the correct values to the master.
