An error message is generated and
displayed on the bus coupler. The error
message is transmitted in coded form in
Byte 2 (see below).

Error bits from Byte 3 saved statically
Error bits are deleted when diagnosis has been
reset with function 255 (Reset) or the bus coupler
has been switched off.
Byte 2 EC (error code)
The error code is also displayed as an error message on the BC bus
coupler.
