Replacing the batteries
NOTICE
•
Do not use rechargeable or Lithium batteries in the Emergency-plug. The battery life of the
Emergency-plug cannot be guaranteed when using non-recommended battery types.
The Emergency-plug batteries are depleted if the LED indicator flashes red or does not light up
when the power button is pressed.

Replace the Emergency-plug batteries as follows:
1.
Push the battery cover lock up and slide the battery cover backwards to remove the battery
cover.
2.
Remove the three AA batteries.
3.
Insert three new AA batteries into the Emergency-plug.

When replacing the batteries for the first time, use the spare batteries supplied to prevent
the spare batteries from draining.

Replace the battery cover on the Emergency-plug.
NOTICE
•
Always ensure that the plus (+) and minus (-) markings on the battery match the plus (+) and
minus (-) markings in the Emergency-plug when inserting the batteries.
