Taking into Use

Remove the battery protector

Before you can use the Emergency-plug, you must remove the battery protector:
1.
Push in the battery cover lock and slide the battery cover backwards to remove the battery
cover.
2.
Pull out the battery protector from between the batteries.
3.
Replace the battery cover on the Emergency-plug.

Using the self-test function
NOTICE

Always check the Emergency-plug for damage before use.
Before using the Emergency-plug, you must first perform the self-test function:
1.
Press the power button.
The Emergency-plug starts the self-test function.

The LED indicator lights up in different colours. Refer to Chapter
2.3. LED indicator colour
coding
for more information.
The LED indicator lights up green when the self-test function has been performed successfully.
