1. To turn the ZIPBEAT-3000 on and off,  press
the POWER button.  Adjust the speed of the
ZIPBEAT-3000 by pressing the TEMPO UP or
TEMPO DOWN buttons.  The ZIPBEAT-3000
is adjustable from 40 to 208 beats per minute.
The LED display will  light under the “beats per
minute” scale to indicate tempo.  When two
LEDs light simultaneously, the speed  is indi-
cated by the number printed between the two
LEDs.

2. To adjust the 3 position volume of the
ZIPBEAT-3000, press the VOLUME (

SWEEP

)

button.  Press it to choose a loud, medium or
mute volume level of the metronome clicks.

3. You can create an accented downbeat to
indicate the beginning of a measure by press-
ing the BEAT (

PITCH

) button.  Select no accent

or from 1 to 7 beats per measure.  The LED
display will light a green LED as a visual cue
and the metronome will chirp simultaneously.
4. The ZIPBEAT-3000 also allows you to select

clicks per beat.  You can divide a beat into 2
clicks (eighth notes), 3 clicks (triplets) or 4
clicks (sixteenth notes).  Continue pressing
the BEAT (

PITCH

) button - with the correspond-

ing LEDs passing through numbers 1 through
7.  The next 3 positions shown are indicated
by musical notes on the ZIPBEAT-3000.  These
3 positions represent the ‘clicks per beat’ se-
lection.

5. You can alternately select a full sweep of
the LED display or just two LEDs lighting in
unison to indicate each beat by pressing and
holding the VOLUME (

SWEEP

) button & holding

for 1 second.

6. You can check your tuning (standard A=440
Hz tuning) by using the built-in tone generator.
Press and hold for about one second the BEAT

you will hear the tone.  The frequency is indi-
cated by the top row of numbers - ranging
