8. STORAGE
If you do not use the atomiser for a longer period of time (e.g. over winter), proceed as
follows:
a) Remove dust, solutions or other substances from the atomizer.
b) With the petrol tap closed, let the engine run to a stop.
c) Unscrew the spark plug and pour about 5 ml of corrosion protection oil or engine oil
into the cylinder through the spark plug hole. Operate the starter 2-3 times then fit the
spark plug.
d) Although the container is made of UV-stabilised material, we recommend keeping
the machine away from direct sunlight.
e) Before restarting, it is recommended to remove the spark plug, actuate the starter a
few times and clean the spark plug to remove the oil from the storage period, otherwise
the engine will have a hard start.
f) In the case of transport in a vehicle, ensure that the position and stability of the
machine are adequate to avoid fuel leaks and damage to the atomiser.
In case of longer storage it is recommended to empty the solution and fuel tank.
g) After each use, drain all fluid from the reservoir and pressure pump and flush with
clean water.
Make sure that during storage the machine has been cleaned and that no liquid remains
in the tank or pressure pump.
Protect the environment
Avoid fuel or oil getting into the ground
Watch out for animals that may be in your work area.
