Ruijie RG-NBS5100 Series Switches Hardware Installation and Reference Guide

The switch reboots after the reset button is pressed for less than 2 seconds. 

 

The switch restores the default factory settings after the reset button is pressed for more than 5 seconds (until the 

status LED blinks).

This device relies on the separate protective earthing terminal. 

 

The device installation shall be permanently connected to building earth by a skilled person. 

 

The device shall be intended to be used in a location having equipotential bonding(such as a telecommunication 

centre, a dedicated computer room, or a restricted access area). 

Heat Dissipation 

RG-NBS5100-24GT4SFP adopts side-to-rear heat dissipation, thereby ensuring normal function of the device in the 

specified environment. 10 cm distance space should be reserved at both sides and the back plane of the cabinet to 

allow air circulation. It is recommended to clean the device once every 3 months to avoid dust from blocking vents.
