Fan
Precaution:
RG-S12010 and RG-S12006 should use standard fans for heat dissipation.

Precaution:
When an AC power module is used, pay attention to the input voltage range. The maximum
output power of the RG-PA1200I is different from that of RG-PA2000I in condition that the two
modules are used for different voltage.
The AC power modules are hot swappable.
When the AC power module is powered on, the Input and Output LEDs on the panel are
green.
To prevent damage to parts caused by rapid power cycle, do not power on RG-S12000 within
30 seconds after power off.
Use the corresponding cables to connect power modules.
The dust in the air may block the air outlet of an air filter after the air filter is used for a long
time, thus affecting system ventilation and heat dissipation. It is recommended to clear the air
filter once every three months.
Users should select power module according to the total consumption power of purchased
modules in order to ensure the power module consumption is greater than the consumption
required by system. If the power consumption exceeds the power of a power module, please
purchase another one. For calculation method, please refer to Power Supply Requirements in
“
RG-S12000 Series Switch Hardware Installation Manua
l”
It is recommended to use 1+1 dual power system redundant mode. However, if the total power
consumptions of all modules exceed the maximum power of a single power system, the
redundant backup function does not work.
For 1+1 redundant configuration, configure different power sources for two power modules, for
example, one is commercial power and the other is UPS power.
Power supplies of one model must be configured for the dual power supplies.
