Accessing the Switch
Overview
Simple Network Protocol Management (SNMP) Access

Access and configure the switch using open standards and functions at the Manage-
ment Information Base (MIB) level
■
Connect securely via SNMPv3
■
Requires SNMP management software
■
Some settings may require calculations and there are limited amounts of information
available for display
While SNMP Access is supported on the switch, it requires 3rd party proprietary (or open
source) Management Information Base (MIB) level software packages (SNMP management
software). Please acquire a copy of your preferred MIB software for multiple Microsoft
Windows operating system platforms and consult its user manual for detailed SNMP
interface access setup.
