RMON Commands
rmon event
Configures an RMON event and specific related actions.
Command Mode: Global Configuration
Syntax
[no] rmon event <index(1-65535)> [description <event-description>]
[log][trap <CommunityIndex>] [owner <owner>]
Description
■
<index(1-65535)>
- Specifies the event group index from 1 to 65535.
■
[description <event-description>]
- Specifies a comment describing the
event, up to 127 characters.
■
[log] / [trap <CommunityIndex>]
- Specifies the type of notification generated
by the device about the event. Values may be; none, log, trap, or log-trap. If the
specified notification type is trap, an SNMP trap is sent to the SNMP community index
string, up to 127 characters.
■
[owner <owner>]
- Sets the RMON event group owner name.
■
no rmon event
- Disables the RMON event notification.
