9.9 | Communication and Time: The Global Communication and Time Settings Menu 

NOTE -

 If you want to use DHCP, the TCP/IP proto-

col or the NTP Time server, please make sure, that your unit 
is connected to the network via the 

ethernet

 connector (see 

connection

 chapter).

This menu tab displays the 

Global Communication and 

Time Settings

 menu page used to set an IP address and the 

internal time system. The IP address is used for the operation 
of the unit in a network and essential for software upgrades 
as well as the import or export of user presets (see 

Software 

Update

 chapter below for more details). The internal time 

system can either be synchronized to a NTP server or be set 
manually. It e. g. provides the basis for the Loudness integrated 
readings and documentation.
