6.11 | Defi ning the Power On Preset
The SurroundControl units can be confi gured to load a predefi ned preset after power on or to reuse the last preset that was ac-
tive before power down.
4. For saving your settings and leaving the menu system
press the Save & Exit key. The screen shows the Save
Global Settings? page.
5. Confi rm saving the global settings by again pressing the
Save & Exit key. The unit stores the settings and returns
to normal operation mode.
6. For aborting your settings and leaving the menu system
without any changes repeatedly press the Abort key until
the unit returns to normal operation mode.
Please proceed as follows:
1. From normal display operation, press the MENU key.
Accessing the menu for the fi rst time after power on will
take some seconds for initialization.
2. Normally, the Instrument Settings menu tab with the
Instrument Settings menu is shown fi rst. Use the cursor
keys < and > to select the General Settings menu tab.
The Global General Settings menu page is shown.
3. Use the Power-On State combo box to select the preset
that you want to be loaded after power on. Alternatively,
you can select the option
Use power off state if you
want the unit to come up with the last used preset.
