SurroundControl 31900/31960 Series
To change local parameters, please proceed as follows:
1. From normal display operation, press the MENU key.
Accessing the menu for the fi rst time after power on will
take some seconds for initialization.
2. The
Instrument Settings
menu tab with the
Instrument
Settings
menu is shown fi rst. This menu page exclusively
includes the sub menus with the settings of the
local
parameters. If this menu is not visible, use the cursor keys
<
and
>
to select it.
3. Use
the
Use Preset
combo box to select the preset you
want to modify.
4. Use
the
Edit selected preset
button to access the sub
menus for adapting the local settings.
5. Choose the correspondent menus and use the cursor
keys
and
and the red
Sel
key or use the mouse to
change the parameters you need for your preset.
6. The saving procedure will vary slightly depending when
local or global menu settings are about to be saved. It is
described in an own paragraph.
6.9 | Saving Presets
After altering the settings of one of the presets in the menu,
the new confi guration must be saved in one of the User Pre-
sets
U1
to
U7
before you can use it.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Press
the
Save & Exit
key. The
Save Preset
menu page
will appear giving you the choice to select one of the 7
User Presets to be overwritten with the new settings. Use
the
Overwrite Preset
combo box to select one.
2. Use
the
Change name
button, if you want to change the
name of the selected preset. A menu page with keyboard
buttons is opened.
3. Enter a name with up to 6 characters. Store the name with
the use of the
Enter = Close
button. The
Save Preset
menu page is shown again.
4. For saving the settings in the user preset selected in
the
Overwrite Preset
combo box and leaving the menu
system press the
Save & Exit
key. The new settings are
stored and the unit returns to normal display operation.
5. For aborting your settings and leaving the menu system
without any changes repeatedly press the
Abort
key until
the unit returns to normal operation mode.
