GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Please keep instructions and packaging.
•
Switch off the hot plate and disconnect from the mains supply whenever the hot
plate is not in use or when cleaning.
•
Regularly inspect the hot plate and the cable for damage. If there is sign
damage of any kind, the hot plate should not be used.
•
Repairs to this hot plate should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
•
Do not use the hot plate outdoors.
•
Under no circumstances should the hot plate be operated in wet or damp
conditions.
•
Never leave heated oils and fats unsupervised.
•
Be careful of cookware protruding beyond the hot plate.
•
If liquids are spilt on the hot plates remove from the mains supply and dry.
•
Use the hot plate only for the intended purpose of heating and cooking food.
•
Use only when cookware is placed on the hot plates.
•
Be careful when placing on any heat sensitive surface.
•
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system
•
work time should not exceed 60 minutes
•
this appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or metal capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or introduction concerning

USING HOT PLATE
•
Before using your hot plate for the
first time
, turn the hot plate to the highest
setting for 3 to 5 minutes to condition the Protective coating.
1. Switch “ON” the hot plate by turning the variable temperature control of the hot
plate to the selected temperature. When the Indicator light illuminates, the hot
plate is in use.
2. Turn the variable temperature control to achieve the desired temperature

3. When not in use, make sure the variable temperature control is in the “OFF”
position and mains plug is removed from the mains supply.
4. The Indicator Light will switch off when the hot plate reaches the selected
temperature.
5. The Indicator Light will switch on again to maintain the desired temperature.
6. Some requirements for the cookware used for cooking.
a) For the most efficient use of the Hot plate, the cookware used should be
with a solid base and be as even as possible, and with a diameter of
about 18mm to 20mm, and a maximum quantity of 12 litres.
b) Cookware with a base diameter smaller than the diameter of the Solid
Hot plate should not be used.
c) Cookware with convex, concave or uneven bottoms should not be used.
