1 - ROLL OUT THE SAIL WITH CAM
ZIPPERS FACING UPWARDS

5 - FIT THE CAMS

3 - SET EXTENSION ACCORDING TO SAIL
SPECS AND THREAD DOWNHAUL

4 - DOWNHAUL UNTIL MAST REACHES
RIGGING MARK

2 - INSERT MAST MAKING SURE THE
MAST IS ON TOP OF THE CAMS

If cams pop off immediately, apply a tiny bit
more downhaul to the sail and try again.

a. Starting with the cam below the boom
cutout. Hold the mast with the right hand and
push on the cam from the outside

b. Repeat with the cam above the boom. Hold
the mast with the left hand and push the cam
from the outside with the right hand

c. Next fit the top cam, pushing inside the
zipper if necessary

d. Finally the bottom cam. A good technique
is to push inside the zipper and use the knee
to push the cam in position

If cams are too hard to fit, release the
downhaul slightly.

6 - APPLY THE FULL DOWNHAUL CHECKING

THE LEECH TENSION FOR CORRECT TUNING

7 - PUT THE EXCESS ROPE IN THE STASH

POCKET

9 - FIT THE BOOM

8 - FIT TACK STRAP AND TENSION.

MORE TENSION = LOW END POWER.
LESS TENSION = TOP END CONTROL.
