GEAR SHIFTING, RIDING AND STOPPING
CAUTION
n If the clutch lever is released abruptly and throttle opening is done insufficiently the motorcycle will have a rough start
and cause the engine to stall.
n
If the acceleration is very high and clutch lever is released abruptly, it will cause motorcycle to move suddenly, which
will lead to loss of control leading to an accident resulting in injury and or loss of life to rider / other road users / passed
by, besides damage to the motorcycle.
n Always exercise utmost caution while releasing clutch and riding the motorcycle.

Lift gear shift lever up with toe to shift to 2nd and subsequent gears.
n
As soon as the motorcycle reaches a speed of 20 kmph in 1st gear position, shift to
2nd gear and to higher gears as the speed of the motorcycle increases.
