Throttle Body

NOTE:

The throttle position sensor

(TPS) and Manifold Absolute

Pressure Sensor (MAP) are

not serviceable and hence

should  not  be  removed

from the throttle body.

Adjuster Nuts

Double end spanner:

12mm
-

Hose clip screws: Flat

screw driver

Locate  throttle  body

between  the  cylinder

head inlet and air filter

outlet house.

Gently  slide  throttle

body on the inlet bellow

and adaptor.

Locate  hose  clip  on

Adaptor 

between

throttle body and cylinder

head.

Locate hose clip on air

inlet rubber hose.

Connect  manual  Bi

Starter cable on throttle

body by tightening and

locating the plastic nut

on LH side.

Connect  rubber  hose

from  throttle  body  to

the EVAP canister.

Locate the locknuts on

the adjusters and locate

throttle  cables  on  the

throttle body.

Ensure Ignition switch

and stop switch are  in

OFF position.

Connect  TPS and MAP

wiring couplers.
