8.8 Assembly Of

Master Cylinder

Assemble  the  Brake

Switch.

Ensure 

that 

the

projection  of  switch

body correctly seats in

the  slot  provided.

Assemble  the  Coupler

Terminal  and  ensure

proper locking of wires.

Assemble  the  master

cylinder assembly on the

handle bar by using the

clamp  with  ‘  UP’  mark

facing upwards.

Tighten  the  master

cylinder assy. clamp top

Bolt  -  Clamp  first  and

then tighten the bottom

Bolt.

Assemble the Lever, Bolt

- lever and Nut-lever and

tighten.

Torque values:
Bolt-lever 6 Nm
Nut-lever 6 Nm

Hex Bolt M5
Ring Spanner 8mm
