Heating does not warm
up enough
Water flow too low.
Ɣ
Check that all stop valves of the water circuit are
completely open.
Ɣ
Check that the water filter is dirty.
Ɣ
Check that the expansion tank is defective.
Ɣ
Completely vent the heating system and the internal
circulation pump.
Ɣ
On the controller (rotary switch position
"Info"
),
check whether sufficient water pressure (> 0.5 bar) is
available; if necessary, top up heating water.
Ɣ
Check that the resistance in the water circuit is not too
high for the pump (see reference manual for the
outdoor unit technician).
Target value range is too low.
Ɣ
Increase parameter [Heat-Slope].
Ɣ
Increase parameter [T vbh1 max].
Ɣ
Increase parameter [Max T-Flow].
Weather-dependent T-HS control active.
Ɣ
Check
"HC Configuration"
level settings of the param-
eters [T-Outside lim day], [Heat-Slope] and the
settings in rotary switch position
"Set Temp Day"
.
Optional backup heater (BUxx) or alternative
heater booster not cut in.
Ɣ
Check mains supply of the backup heater (BUxx).
Ɣ
Thermal contactor (STB) on the backup heater (BUxx)
has triggered. Unlock.
Ɣ
Check parameters [Function Heating Rod], [BUH s1
power] and [BUH s2 power].
Water volume in heating system too low
Ɣ
Check admission pressure in the expansion tank and
water pressure; if necessary, top up heating water and
adjust admission pressure (see chap. 7.4).
Hot water supply is taking too much of the out-
put of the heat pump.
Ɣ
Check parameter [Function Heating Rod] settings in
"Configuration"
level,
"Setup"
sub-level.
Ɣ
Check parameter [Power DHW] settings in
"Configu-
ration"
level,
"System Configuration"
sub-level.
Hot water does not warm
up
Hot water preparation shut off (e.g. switching
time program is in the economy phase,
parameters for hot water preparation incor-
rectly set).
Ɣ
Check the operating mode setting.
Ɣ
Check the request parameters.
Storage tank charging temperature too low.
Ɣ
Increase the target hot water temperature.
Draw-off rate too high.
Ɣ
Reduce the draw-off rate, limit throughput.
Output of heat pump too low.
Ɣ
Check the switching times for room heating and hot
water supply for overlaps.
Water volume in heating system too low.
Ɣ
Check admission pressure in the expansion tank and
water pressure; if necessary, top up heating water and
adjust admission pressure (see chap. 7.4).
Optional backup heater (BUxx) or alternative
heater booster not cut in.
Ɣ
Check mains supply of the backup heater (BUxx).
Ɣ
Thermal contactor (STB) on the backup heater (BUxx)
has triggered. Unlock.
Ɣ
Check parameters [Function Heating Rod], [BUH s1
power] and [BUH s2 power].
