OPERATION
For best cutting performance
o
The hair to be cut must be dry and clean
o
The
cutting head should
always
be oiled before operation. Use
the blade oil
supplied
for this
.
o
Put the attachment comb required on the cutting head
. Y
ou can choose between
six
comb attachments to enable cutting lengths between 4 and 30 mm. (See illustrations
above). Start with the longest cutting length first. And, if necessary, use a shorter one.
o
Press the button to switch the appliance on

We recommend
using a
low setting
and trimming
a small area first,
to familiarize yourself with the attachment comb.
o
Hold the trimmer against the hair, the teeth of the clipper guide pointing upwards,
but
flat against the head.
o
Move the trimmer upwards and outwards
through the hair, a little at a time, against
the direction of hair growth.
o
The appliance will work most efficiently when cutting through the hair at its own
speed. Never force the trimmer through the hair. Never switch the trimmer off whilst
in the hair.
o
For longer hair on top of the head, use the long comb and lift hair on top of the head,
cutting over the comb, or hold the hair between the fingers and cut to the desired
length. Always work from the front to the back of the head.

Do not attac

Hold the trimmer upside down and,
holding it gently against the skin at the length
desired, move downward.
o
Having defined the outline, gently hold the trimmer against the skin, the teeth of the
trimmer pointing upwards and move the trimmer upwards against the direction of
hair growth to the defined outline. This will trim the unwanted hair adjacent to the
outline.
