BEFORE THE FIRST USE
o
Wash all of the parts thoroughly with water and washing up liquid (or in the
dishwasher), with the exception of the motor base Simply wipe the motor base with
a damp cloth.
o
Before using it for the first time with food, run the appliance with just one
dehydrator tray and the lid. The resulting odour is normal and will go after a while.
Turn the appliance off again as soon as the odour has gone.

HOW TO USE YOUR FOOD DEHYDRATOR
o
Place the first tray on the motor base and cover it with the food you want to dry.
Caution:
Do not place any food directly on the motor base!
o
Place the next tray on. You can insert two spacers, so you can place the top tray
either directly on the ribbed shelf (Fig. 1) or place the spacer of the top tray on the
ribbed shelf of the lower tray (Fig. 2).
o
Use as many trays as you need and do not forget to put the lid on at the end.
o
Press the control button to ON (I). The warm air will now blow upwards through the
opening in the motor base and thereby dry out the food.
o
As soon as the desired degree of dryness has been reached, the appliance can be
switched off again (control knob back to OFF (0)).
o
Wash the trays thoroughly before using them again.
o
5 trays are supplied with this appliance. Additional trays can always be ordered
from your local dealer or Rotel AG, 5012 Schönenwerd.

Caution:
Never use more than 20 trays at once!

TIPS
o
With this dehydrator you can dry out all foods that are suitable for drying. This does
not just include fruit and vegetables but also meat, herbs, nuts, etc.
o
Wash the food thoroughly beforehand and remove the shell if you want.
